The Deceased Bar is the only horror-themed bar on this list. Its theme makes it very unique. The entrance to this bar is through a locked narrow wooden door that leads to a dark staircase, spooky atmosphere to the main door of the bar. You will need to buzz at the door to get in. As soon as you got into the bar it gets less spooky and immediately feels welcomed.
The drinks at this bar are all horror-themed with Malaysian ghost names or weird names. They made the drinks from a lot of local homemade ingredients. One interesting drink is Petty Person Beating, it’s a gin-based cocktail with Malaysian rice wine and local sour plum juice.

Potions is a bar within a hostel but what makes it special is the fact that how well hid this bar is. This bar is hidden behind a Narnia looking wooden closet. It is all located above a cafe and you will need to pass through the cafe to get to Potions. On the second floor, most people won’t release the door to the bar until the question “what the hell is a closet doing here?” hits their mind.
Inside, it’s mostly wooden from the bar to the floor and tables. Potions have a laboratory theme so all the drinks you order here will come with some sort of laboratory equipment like a beaker or test tubes. This bar has the same owner as Deceased so the drinks here are too made from local homemade ingredients.
